A few people have posted about the pros and cons of excessive tweeting. Tom called it Twitter Tourettes.

So if a 'tweet' captures a thought or comment, then surely a 'twitch' is a compulsive nervous tic expressed through Twitter. You know the sort of thing 'Hey, I'm awake!', 'I need a coffee', 'Now I'm in the executive lounge'.
